Your content stays yours
Messages and attachments are encrypted on devices. The relay delivers them without holding their decryption keys.
From the first invitation link to the last call, Hush brings together the tools to speak freely and decide what stays accessible.
Free on the web. No installation.
Talk one to one or in a group. Find your conversations and unread messages in one place.
Name search, favorites and unread counts help you find the right conversation. Participant names and sent, delivered and read states make the thread easier to follow.
Share encrypted documents, including on the Free plan.
Each attachment is encrypted before upload. Recipient devices present at upload can each retrieve it once; the relay copy is deleted after the expected acknowledgements or at expiry. A saved copy remains with its recipient.
Invite by username or link. A link guest can join without an account after you accept them.
Share a link or QR code, or invite an account directly by username. Link guests wait for your acceptance. Username invitations can be admitted automatically while your owner client is online.
30 days with Free. Pro offers 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, plus early closure.
Remaining time is visible in the conversation. Pro also lets creators close their own conversations early. At expiry, access ends; cleanup then removes relay data and local data when devices run.

Messages use the Signal protocol. Each file has its own encryption key. Security codes let you verify a contact over another channel; the whitepaper explains the mechanisms and their limitations.
With Pro, make encrypted audio and video calls on compatible clients. Your guests do not need Pro.
Use camera preview, microphone controls, a group gallery, participant selection and a minimized view. On the web, opening another discussion does not interrupt the call. Screen sharing works in supported desktop browsers.
It starts before the first message and carries through your invitations, files and vault. Practical protection, in an app you can make your own.

Your conversation list syncs in an encrypted vault. Message history stays on each individual device.
Encryption protects content, not all account or connection metadata. A compromised device and exported copies remain outside this protection. Expiry closes access; deletion then depends on relay cleanup and devices running.
Read the whitepaperCreate an account with a username and password, without a phone number or mandatory email. Your encrypted vault syncs your conversation list between authorized devices. Message history stays local to each device.
Your recovery key is essential to authorize a new device. An optional recovery email lets you reset your sign-in password; it cannot reconstruct the vault on its own.
